We want this category regulated well.

Sensible rules protect consumers and honest producers at the same time.

Storyboard Easy Days original

Hand-inked Easy Days comic in three panels: a man in an orange Easy Days jacket presenting documents across a meeting-room table, a room of community members listening at a public session, and hands laying out Easy Days materials and a botanical reference sheet on a table.
Sitting down with regulators, neighbours and the record.

01 Policy

Our positions

  • Mandatory 21+ age verification at retail and online
  • Mandatory lot-level third-party testing with published certificates of analysis
  • Full disclosure of alkaloid and active content on the label
  • A ban on semi-synthetic and isolated concentrates sold as botanicals
  • Standardized warning language on packaging
  • Adverse event reporting requirements for all manufacturers

02 Policy

Why we speak up

The fastest way to lose a traditional botanical is to let the worst actors define it. Cheap adulterated product, wild dosage claims, and marketing aimed at teenagers invite blanket bans that punish careful producers and the communities that have used these plants for generations.

03 Policy

What we do about it

We participate in industry standards work, support state-level consumer protection bills that include testing and age requirements, and publish our own testing practices so others can be held to the same bar.
